Merging Virtual Visa products
5 months ago by Kapil Kale
On July 1st, 2024, we’ll be merging the Virtual Visa International product into the Virtual Visa (US) product to create a single Virtual Visa prepaid card. This product can be used in 213 countries, including the US, and has a 6-month expiration window.
This is not a breaking change. You should expect no disruptions to the API. As such, no action is required for your integration.
On July 1st 2024, the following API changes will go into effect
Creating orders via API
- Campaigns will be automatically updated to use the Virtual Visa (worldwide) product.
- If you were placing orders referencing the Virtual Visa International product ID (
UIL1ZYJU5MKN
), that's fine. We’ll automatically substitute the Virtual Visa (worldwide) product in place of these orders. That product ID will continue to work indefinitely into the future as an alias for Virtual Visa (worldwide).
Product endpoints

- Requests to the Show product endpoint with the Virtual Visa International product ID (
UIL1ZYJU5MKN
) will 404. - The product

- Product ID: Q24BD9EZ332JT
- Countries: 213 countries, including the US
- Expiration window: 6 months from issue
