Change management

We are currently on v2 of the Tremendous API. v1 is at EOL, and will be fully sunset in June 2023. All new integrations use v2.

The version of the API is denoted in the URL for all API endpoints. E.g. https://testflight.tremendous.com/api/v2/orders

Changes

Non-breaking changes
We are committed to continuously improving the API, and often release non-breaking changes without releasing a new version. Examples include:

• Adding new resources
• Adding new optional request parameters to existing resources
• Adding new attributes to existing responses
• Changing error message payloads (usually to make them more descriptive)

Breaking changes
We do not release breaking changes without notifying API clients in advance. Typically, such notifications provide several months notice, and are delivered to all admins on an account.
